Archive a Directory Source

Directory sources with Identities that are associated with applications and/or used in reviews can be archived. Archiving is a destructive process which means that:

• Identities will be removed from Permission Assist if they aren't associated with applications, workflows, or reviews of any status

• Identities and directory groups from this directory source will no longer be used by or associated with entitlement roles

• Any Identities (from this directory source) included in the System Authentication area will be deleted and will no longer have access to Permission Assist unless they have access via another directory source or another role such as Application Manager or Supervisor.

To archive a directory source, complete the following steps:

1. From the Directory Sources list (System Configuration > Directory Sources) select the directory source you want to archive.

2. Select the Settings tab.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Archive link.

4. Type "Archive" in the field, and then select the Archive button.
